About this application

Shepparton Livestream Control is a private audiovisual control integration used by Shepparton Seventh-day Adventist Church to operate its YouTube livestreams.

The integration uses Bitfocus Companion together with the YouTube API to allow authorised church audiovisual operators to view and control existing YouTube live broadcasts from the church's Stream Deck control system.

What it does

The application may be used to:

• identify existing and upcoming YouTube live broadcasts;
• read livestream and broadcast status information;
• start or transition an authorised broadcast to live;
• end an authorised live broadcast; and
• display useful broadcast information to audiovisual operators.

Google and YouTube access

Access to YouTube is authorised through Google's OAuth system. The application only uses this access to perform livestream management functions requested by authorised operators.

This application is intended for use with the Shepparton Seventh-day Adventist Church YouTube channel and is not offered as a public service.
